>> No.52407295

90% of my networth was on a centralized exchange, after the FTX crash I got spooked now have everything in own wallet

>> No.52407311

10% of my funds are on gemini because I just sent a bunch of fiat there to slurp the dip and now have to wait 7 days for the funds to clear before I can move them. Its a scam in itself. ACH transfers only take 1-3 days to clear.

finally. we've only been warning you for literally years. "not your keys not your coins" did people just think that was a meaningless catchphrase?

the lack of paranoia to leave your funds on an exchange isn't healthy. the world really is out to get you and it's time you grew up and realized it. trust based systems and the inherent failure of them is the whole reason your crypto investments even have any purpose at all.

>do you keep your fund in a cex ?
never did

you placed your trust in fancy rich men with suits and ties in downtown skyscrapers of the financial district and in exchange you got the 2008 recession from those fucking degens. LEARN FROM HISTORY

I had about 1/4 on CB, got out because retards are fudding to start a exchange run. While CB has fucked me over in fees, I never got my money stolen. Kraken was nice for a few coins.

Everything I own, I mean this almost literally, is safely on Coinmetro. 7 figures.
I agree that you shouldn't put your money on chinese CEX's or whatever self proclaimed regulatory champion exchange that is headquartered in the fucking Bahama's and had to make a seperate US branch to skirt regulations. Be smart with your money, this goes for where you invest it in as well as where you store it.
I have 100x more trust with my money being safeguarded on a decent EU based exchange, than if I had to be responsible myself with a paper wallet or a Ledger. Normies are never returning/entering crypto when there are no reliable and easy to use CEXes, and all the crypto OGs, nerds and privacy advocates can continue to shill shitcoins to each other waiting fruitlessly for any of them to moon ever again.

Same I have everything in cm, I knew it was the right decision when Kevin banned Russia from the exchange because "he didn't like them" and when someone asked him was it because of the war in Ukrain he just looked at the chat, then quietly said "War in Ukraine?" in confusion

Yes (Binance). 90%.
Not for long though, this week I will move everything to cold storage.

I've got some paper btc on sofi. It's just the cheapest/easiest way to dca. At some point I'll sell and send the cash to alto for tax sheltered paper btc.

I have my crypto on Revolut - an fca regulated online bank. They also support btc transfers to external addresses, and i buy shares and commodities on there also.
Why anyone would use dodgy CEXs are beyond me.
