Being a share holder does not automatically give you access to an NFT. A wallet has to be setup and then linked to an account that holds shares. How would they even give them out? The only people receiving them would those who have setup the wallet and linked to their account. The NFT dividend claims would be optional and an extremely low amount. They also wouldn’t be issuing an NFT per share, so there would have to be a minimum by in to even be eligible. And then the NFTs will be illiquid and absolutely fucking worthless. If you think an NFT dividend will some how trigger shorts to close you are delusional. GameStop cannot automatically setup a wallet to hold NFTs for any share holder. This means the amount of claimed NFTs will be much much lower than the share count.

DRS is just not going to have an effect until it gets to 100%, and I don't see that happening. With the upcoming recession, apes are going to have to sell to keep treading water in this economy. Sure there will be some die hard holders (those who can afford to pay the bills despite economic turmoil) but the majority of apes will end up selling a portion of their shares month by month. DRS is just not going to keep up. Expect to see declining numbers in the coming months/years and maybe then if there are any apes left who still believe in this play, they can go ahead and attempt to DRS 100%

I think it is pretty clear that if these guys want to manipulate ANY price on ANY stock they can do so at their leisure. They have the tools to do it. If they really wanted to they could sit there with a massive outstanding short position and all of the fraudulent shares could just be sitting out there INDEFINITELY. DRS is the only thing that forces the issue and exposes the reality of the lack of supply of real shares.
There is not going to be some "market crash" that blows out the shorts because they can simply provide all of the necessary liquidity for themelves to stop a panicked selloff. They can set algos to bounces shares back and forth to each other and prop up the price.
The only way MOASS is exposed is through DRS. Nothing else forces the issue unless action by GME is taken. The SEC is refusing to step in which is beyond laughable.
