>SBF gives money to Alameda
>Alameda loses money

Okay, where did Alameda REALLY send the money? Who got it? Why is nobody talking about this part of the story? Did it get sent covertly to Elon so he could complete the Twitter deal?

they borrowed other token against the FTT they got from Sam as collateral. and not a little bit but so much that in the end there were more liabilities against FTT than its market caps would even support. when people saw that they crashed FTT, and alamedas positions got liquidated.

Human trafficking money laundering operation. Same one they killed Nikolai Muchigian the DAI founder over exposing. FTX allows human trafficking rings to launder their money from smuggling people.

But doesn't someone benefit when someone else gets liquidated? Who benefited and made money from this? Money doesn't disappear into a black hole.

politicians are going to keep the "donated" ftx money aren't they

This is the least schizo possibility, with the 2024 election coming up I expect there will be more pumps but also more crypto scandals as politicians try to use crypto to fund campaigns/protesters/dogbirding etc.

the money never existed in the first place, they propped up the value of FTT in order to collateralize their loans. it's happening in all crypto markets just not to that extend.
> But doesn't someone benefit when someone else gets liquidated?
the people who realized what's going on and shorted FTT into the ground in order to expose carolines little putchy. and with "the people" I mean CZ.

Yes, but where did the LOANS really go?
If the collaterals are just hot air, then why can't they just return the loans? Where did it go?

>where did the LOANS really go?
back into FTT to prop up its price. and partly they just kept the loaned tokens on their balance sheet, which got leaked a couple of days ago and surely still can be found via google.

We don't know yet. There is speculation about the possibility that they took losses backstopping liquidations (providing liquidity to meet liquidations when there would actually be no buyers), splurging money on vaporware project VC efforts, and just outright theft. It's likely that trying to save the companies getting rekt in June tipped them over the edge though

this. Its known as loan cycling. If done right a good way to profit of interest payments, as long as it isnt done with a pump and dump token

That's not what backstopping liquidations is, retard
You know how exchanges make you put up margin in order to open positions? If the price moved too fast then liquidating someone might not get the exchange the margin back, because nobody is willing to take the other side of the position. Binance and several other exchanges have backstopping funds for this reason. It's speculated that this was why there were so many funds trading there as opposed to regular users, because the funds thought they had found a winning strategy but were in fact burning a hole into Alameda. Then the mousetrap swinged shut
