Cryptos are speculative assets. The only way to profit from them is by finding a buyer who is willing to pay more than you did. As any ponzi in history, this will eventually end. People sometimes compare this to the game of musical chairs. The idea is that once the music stops and perceived value collapses, you want to be the one holding money, not speculative asset.
Sometiems it's referred to as greater fool theory too, where you need to find a greater fool than you to make a profit.
