Do what I did this year and figure out a really flexible intraweek trading pattern for the indexes which are very volatile atm. What's the best asset to buy and hold for the next 25 years in this economy?

>> No.52364080

>>52363942
Huge shift lower in US treasuries yesterday - banks are closed today. Likely some short covering in the forex as long USD has been the play all year. It kept sliding all night. DXY failed to break past 115, and now broken out of the channel to the downside.
Foreign banks have been trying to fight this move for months now, mirroring Fed hikes, selling down their US reserves, etc.

A dollar crash means we'll be importing more inflation though. Not at all bullish, long-term. However, it's unlikely the Euro in particular can sustain a rally, given the state of their own economy.

You know, things might indeed be "easing."
In a few months maybe there will only be 2% YoY increases, yet the 8% YoY ones from the year before not going away of course.
The retarded media and the braindead populace will celebrate a slightly lower positive number on top of a significantly larger positive number not only as things getting better but also things getting cheaper LOL
The year 2023 might become full retard.

i really don't. i keep doing well until i think im better than my rules and i start increasing my share size and getting fucked up. i honestly don't know how my gut guides me to the point where i always come back in the end to profit, though. it's a fucking rollercoaster of emotions, though. like, i just want to fuck around trading 10 shares of FAGMAN stocks with good volume for the day, but today for example i wound up trading 100 shares for awhile, then 200 because i was pissed at price constantly changing direction. then when it finally trended i made my money back and then some. but that shit is scary going from 10 shares to 200 shares and the feeling of being -$200 when you were basically trading like $2 risk is... bad, to say the least. i really gotta stop doing that but i HATE losing.

what i REALLY need to do is automate my trading. my strategy based on trend and momentum with proper risk management is sound, my indicators are good and simple (basically just moving averages tbhwy), i just need to follow that shit religiously and not double, triple, quadruple etc down. losing streaks really piss me off though but i have to accept that as part of the game and that winning streaks come too (actually they come pretty often because my system is good and i only trade the first hour or so of the day).

BEHOLD! MY DISEASE! IM STILL GREEN, BAY-BEE!!!

It's the service sector eclipsing production, then the most useless industries in the service sector eating all the others (hr departments, advertising, etc) until our entire economy is just people pushing paper around dwindling mounds of asian slave labor. If you were just being stupid go back to work

If you were one of those suicidal autists who had no reason to live and was trying to make it financially possible to escape society and die alone living free for a little while just go be a hobo. Buy a hunting rifle, a shotgun, and some basic survival shit. If you can, acquire, legally or illegally, a silencer for the rifle so it's easier to poach. .22 or .300blk depending on what you can afford. There's unoccupied land all over alaska and northern canada. There's land in the northwest and southwest where no one will ever realize you're homeless and not camping. Shoot yourself when you hit a wall.

Surely most people who blow up their account were planning to kill themselves because of a bleak life outlook of perpetual wage slavery with no joys to had due to being antisocial autists, and tried one last time before pulling the trigger? What else makes sense?

It's 4chan and waging is designed to strip you of everything but the bare minimum of human companionship needed to keep a normal person happy, the very thing the average 4chan poster never enjoyed (i mean most of you never even tried to make friends and probably pushed everyone away, and you only feel bad about that because you've been told to) so yes I assume so.

Very likely.
I somewhat expect a randomly oscillated crabfest with a downward drift for at least 10 to 12 years from here on out.
(with January 2022 being the highs for the decade)
"High" interest rated, crabbing to downward stock markets, commissions on investment products, debt levels and their necessary interest payments could destroy so much wealth over time. Which is of course needed.
Also I believe that Oil will find fair value at the end of this decade at around $400 to $500.

Most of the autists here only joke about being suicidal, they are all a lot like tinny. Mentally ill, usually NEETs that are given a combination of retard bux and an inheritance of some sort that's enough to get by but not enough to never work again. So rather than being smart and investing the money wisely, and getting a part time job or something, they yolo into options and make themselves think they'll just end it all if they lose the money, not actually believing the end scenario would be losing it all because "they have no idea how dangerous I am" narcissistic attitude from never leaving their home for years at a time and never interacting with anyone outside of 4chan. So when it actually goes wrong and their financial life flashes before their eyes, they won't kill themselves. They'll get a job at McDonald's and tell all the zoomer coworkers about how he used to be a stock broker in the big leagues, while the glassy eyed xanax'd the fuck out zoomers couldn't care less.

The pump leading up to midterms followed by dump thesis was a bit flawed. It also didn't line up to historical trends regarding market activity relative to midterm elections. What market likes most of all is resolution of uncertainty. Election results were pretty neutral as far as effect on market, therefore uncertainty bearishness ended and bulls waiting on sidelines rolled in. Something about like that.

Petroleo? I entered. PBR and E are the only oil companies that seem remotely interesting right now. Yes, the commodity will go higher, but the valuations are getting too high, given the context and environment. I prefer the miners and PM miners at the moment. They move similarly to oil, but their valuations are ass with less apparent risk.
