FTX saved their ass with a gigantic infusion. But it was a balance sheet infusion, and people are now speculating that much of it was in FTT or other collateral with FTX itself as the counterparty.

Now they're really falling apart, and nobody is there to save them this time I imagine. Who knows, I could still see somebody snapping them up in an acquisition out of this because it's a viable company and it doesn't have the same SBF stigma as FTX itself does. If the banks fail they have express powers given after 2008 to turn depositors money over $250k into shitty bank stock and use that money to stay solvent. The money in your bank, you are an unsecured creditor, last in line. The FDIC will cover up to $250k but if too many banks fail at once and the FDIC can’t cover it all, they would have to print the money to make those people whole. We would likely enter hyperinflation almost IMMEDIATELY from that. No joke guys, this is actually in the cards right now. If the auto loan and mortgage sectors implode too hard (they’re moving towards it) somebody like Wells Fargo is gonna go insolvent and we may see regular banks have a crypto moment.
