I have been half-in LINK since 2018, and I went all-in with the rest of my net worth at $9, JUST as LINKETH was breaking out of its 18-month downonly channel. It was just the most obvious play I'd ever seen, staking finally announced and a month away, bullish elections and CPI just days away (I knew CPI was going to come in light), literally everything from micro to macro lining up to send LINK on a god run to at least $30. Then literally half an hour later FTX implodes. I cannot fucking believe it, I cannot fucking sleep, the timing of this black swan is so insane I refuse to believe it's coincidence. Now I am watching LINK down 20% from my buy-in in just two days, just farting around uselessly like any other altcoin again, all the staking momentum just went right out the window.

Staking is still a full month away, surely there is time to sort this FTX retardation out (save it or send it to bankruptcy court, idgaf, the market's already priced in most of the latter) and recommence the staking moon mission, right? I simply refuse to believe that 5 YEARS of development and anticipation all just goes out the window because a stinky jew killed his own exchange at an inopportune time. I need industrial-strength hopium and I fucking need it now.

staking has been fundamentally priced in for a while now. did you think the market had some conspiracy to suppress link for 5 years? lol

>staking has been fundamentally priced in for a while now
it was literally only announced last month, nobody knew when it was happening prior to then. You could see accumulation patterns over the past month as people tried to quietly load up ahead the date. It all led up to Monday's near-breakout which probably would have shot to at least $15 if SBF hadn't chosen that precise moment in time to lose $8B in user funds.

Not just any stinky jew, but a stinky jew that had Sergey's seal of approval(just like Mashinsky) and had spoken at smartcon

As a non-Link holder (and therefore technically a potential buyer) I can assure you that I couldnt give less of a fuck about chainlink staking
I mean what does staking do... it gives free Chainlink tokens to people, therefore creating more sell pressure. Why would I be interested ?

>> No.52352431

>>52352345
It takes Link off of the market and it gives people who were otherwise staking at places like Bancor an official path to create revenue with their Link. This is hugely important as it means that those who wish to short Link don't have the easy access to other people's Link to do so.

>> No.52352500

>>52352431
Sergey is literally dumping link so they have access to pay for staking retard linkpool seem to be doing the same thing.

you get 5% in a native asset in a bear market...
you also get airdrops of many promising projects through the chainlink build program
first step is admit you're a brainlet though, and either dyor (not possible for all) or just listen to us and buy at least 1k, preferably 10k

Why didnt you sell at 15-20 in summer 2020? Or at $50 in 2021. You had like over a year to sell at a very good price. Now here you are talking about making 5% on your chainlink, yet the price $7
Why didnt you sell?

I dunno what to tell you bro, but I guess if it’s any consolation you’re not alone. I don’t have anything left to say anymore, the amount of times this has happened has just completely killed my spirit. I don’t even feel anything anymore. It’s all become so normal to me. Even if Chainlink by some miracle pumps (I mean properly pumps, not some shitty +20% that gets wiped out in a day) I don’t think I’ll feel anything. We’ve taken so many beatings at this point that I can’t help but feel so bitter about the whole thing. Not selling, still gonna ride this out and see where this all goes but yeah it’s extremely demoralizing OP.

Don't forget why staking is important.
It means that the network will finally be able to enter into the exponential adoption phase, and everyone will be able to become a node operator using staked LINK as collateral.

This means a big increase in network income and growth.
However staking v0.1 is the initial release and you still need to be a bit patient.
Staking v1.0 should be released around November 2023 at the latest and CCIP should be out and used to some extent next year.

FTX has no impact on the Swift migration process which started the final migration process for the BoE which will have all its services migrated by November next year at which time they will be able to receive secondary services which include access to blockchains through CCIP.

They are testing your patience, beliefs and willpower.
The value of Chainlink is not the same thing as the current price.
You only get to sell the token for its real value on rare occasions and now is not the time.

If Simeon wrote on a cardboard in 2001 that he buys Amazon stocks for 10 cents when it was quoted at 30 cents after the tech crash would you have sold it to him?
Or would you have held for the next 2 decades up to $180?

What is the real value of the Chainlink network?
Eric Schmidt already knows the answer to this question and acted in consequence.

The paid shills are working for people who also know the true value of the token and want to buy more at these prices.

They do not want us holding anon. It makes them seethe that a bunch of anons have big stacks. They despise the linklets. Never selling. I knew in the ATH 2021 that it was going to crash, not due to TA or FA but because they depose us and want us gone. Sucks to be them.

Eh. Not great to go all in like that but I think you’ll be ok. $9 will look like a bargain in 6 months…we hope. One idea is to just keep buying more, you’re lowering your average entry price with every but.

>> No.52354816

they had to crash link to let the bancor cucks get out. next wednesday most will leave and link can moon.

Best bet is to, at the very least, see what happens with early staking. Starting to wonder if some black swan doesn't engulf 0.1 and og's all unironically lose their stacks

Yep. I’m not an OG but it’s very clear that they’re pulling some serious puppet master stuff at the moment to demoralise us and get us to sell. It’s not going to happen. Marines know what comes next, and thank fuck for that. Dark times are ahead.

LINK $1k EOY.
Well, maybe in 2030.
But definitely $250 this bullrun.
Hmm. $50 is not so bad really.
A pump to double digits wouldn't be so bad.
Actually, if staking can get us to $7.50 that would be amazing.
Yeah, $7.50.
That sounds about right.

Because I don't think the token is worth that. It's worth 10,000 times more and I'm not selling until that is met.
