I was invested in this a few years ago and sold during its runup to over $20 bucks before it fell back down to earth. The main issue is really the fact that the technology the firm has isn't there to mass produce it for the bigger markets due to density issues. Their STT implementation is 2nd generation and there are no signs they have SOT-MRAM which is third generation in anything. Moreover, the bigger semiconductor fab companies like TSMC, Samsung, and GlobalFoundries are managing to do their own versions without using any of Everspin's patents.
So currently, the only market the company has in the forseeable future is in niche applications like space, military and enterprise memory backup. It's not a bad market but it's going to keep being constrained until they make STT viable to mass produce to higher volume and densities for new products or they switch techologies. They are still below IPO price which was around $7 IIRC and the company had its C-suite reshuffled 2 years ago, which isn't great.

If aapl tanks 20% from hedgefunds selling then the next month indexes will re-adjust and sell too.
