I feel like this is the usual /biz/ and stonk disconnect with reality. Inflation is cooler, but MoM% is still positive across the board. Energy supply problems remain unresolved, and SPR can't drain forever. It's good that housing is cooling, but with mortgages at 7+% it will be crashing soon too. If you actually believe that 5-6% up is because of 50bps instead of 75bps for December (or 5.5% instead of 5.75% terminal rate), I really think you misunderstand how things work and will get rugged if you're longing now.
