>LBRY lost to the SEC, giving the SEC ammo to use against XRP before the final verdict that will likely happen in the first quarter of next year
>If XRP loses to the SEC that sets up a ton of blockchains that did ICOs (see: most PoS coins) to be seen as a part of unregistered securities in the SEC's eyes which will stop any American exchanges from trading coins associated with those chains
>All associated coins tank in value and die out from a big market being unable to participate (and bigger players looking to adopt blockchains won't want to use unregistered securities coins for their stuff)

You did 'invest' in cryptos that have no chance of being unregistered securities, right anon?

But Ripple is using a no investment contract defence. LBRY used fair notice defence. It only matters if Ripple loses the investment contract defense and argues the fair notice defence. LBRY is also on the 1st circuit, Ripple is on the 2nd circuit so it SEC didn't get as much ammo as some think

>If XRP loses

Nobody knows what will happen. If future sales of XRP end up being considered non-securities, then we will see the greatest green dildo of our lifetime.

Eh, I feel like the entire crypto market has operated under the assumption that none of it are securities for the longest time. If it ends up being that none of them are, then it's just back to business as always

This.
Even amateur lawfags that it's all about WHICH argument you make.

I am a businessman interested in lowering my settlement fees domestically and cross border.
I am not dependent on Ripple in any way for this to benefit me and the price does not have to go higher for me to benefit from the XRPL.

I was unaware of any comments about price action by the company and/or it's employees at the time of my assessment and subsequent purchase of XRP.

Also this.
It literally does not matter what the outcome is long term.
Only brainlets think the outcome matters.
