I'm a pilot at a regional making 90K$ a year. Job is cool and everything, but I don't imagine myself flying at 60 y.o. with this job's tempo.

I have a secondary goal of spending more time with family (and kids too) once I hit 35 y.o. maximum (I'm 27 rn).

What should I put my money into?

Delusional. It only takes 2 months to become a private pilot. Fuck being an airline pilot, flying biplanes and water planes is so low skill a monkey can do it.

I'm going to answer your question even though you've proven to be a midwit NPC with your dumb life choices.
>Do company match on 401K.
>Stay married to your wife. Seriously avoid Aviation Induced Divorce Syndrome. Look it up.
>Have a 6 month emergency fund.
>Dump cash into a 529 for your spawn's educations.
>Figure out what else you would want to do if/when you feel like leaving the pilot's seat.
You do all of that and you'll be fine.

Got a CJO for 175k/yr at a legacy.

>3. Become a true FO and do 154k/yr base for west coast, easy peasy.
I'll be flying for a much better airline

>4. You're not going to spend more time with famiy at 35.
Well 35 from 27 is 8 years, which is a lot. I'll eventually bid reserve, get paid 70 hrs anyway even if flying less. I'm also a CFII.
