so what does that look like on multiple time frames?

looking at the pic, the 1m stoch on the bottom is basically like tv snow/static. certainly, it is less laggy, it will give you a precise entry signal, but it will also give you a thousand entry signals.
above it, the 6m stoch is easier to read, which is helped by the fact we are looking at the 6m chart.
above that, the laggy 12m chart will eventually, after the fact, show a higher low.
at the very top the 1d and 6h (360m) stochs are too laggy to use for entry, but they do reflect the overall trend: a big trend up is characterized by several waves high and low on its march to the top

this is where my retarded version of QUANTATIVE analysis begins to work wonders

stochastic K is the short "live/raw" line. stochastic D is a moving average of K. so lets forget about D for now

we add these lines to the default stoch indicator:

k0 = k-50
sum = math.sum(k0,144)
sum2 = math.sum(k0,1440)
plot(sum)
plot(sum2)

this takes the K value, which is on a scale from 0,100, and now makes it on a scale from 50,-50. its "zero centered" now. then we add it up

fractal resonance bar is basically the same as the stochastic heatmap. it draws a series of lines. the line on the bottom is the shortest ma length, the line on the top is the longest. the color of these lines represents the stochastic value: red is "below zero" and green is above.

both growth and decline always start on the shortest time frames, and grow into longer ones. the longer cycles are laggy, yes, but they are also used to measure the trend against itself.

a surfer can't predict a wave. he just knows what the setup looks like. he uses probability to catch maximum wave action. he feels the wave underneath his board, constantly measuring it. and if the wave disappears, or fails to manifest entirely, his trailing stop loss protects him.

here are several fractal resonance bars, from bottom to top: 6m 36m 240m 1d 3d 1w. yesterday i mentioned briefly how a bullish signal on a long time frame almost always generates a bearish counterplay on a shorter time frame, which i've tried to illustrate

in the author's words:

The color map is configured as follows:
Hot Pink: Extreme Overbought (> 100%) rolled over to sell, but oscillators probably embedded with more upside (revert to Dark Green) possible after a pause.
Deep Red: Overbought (> 75%) crossover ripe for selling (validated when red spreads to timescales below).
Brown: Minor (< 75%) crossover sell from which could bounce back green or start a plunge toward gray/black.
Gray/Black: Mature (< -75%) sells turning full black in a plunge before the dawn.
Lime Green: Extreme Oversold (< -100%) and bouncing, though may yet bottom even lower.
Green: Oversold (< -75%) crossover ripe for buy. Green spreading to all timescales below will validate bottom is in.
Dark Green/Teal: Mature buy in overbought (> 75%) range, waiting for sell crossover to Hot Pink for a pause or correction.

White Stripes are Impulsive Trend Warning
Fractal Resonance Bar warns of oscillator embedding by showing white stripes when it detects strong, early surges in the timescale rows below.The white stripes usually accompany Hot Pink warning it's too early to go short, or Lime Green warning it's too early to go long.
