Why are so many people opposed to the idea of crypto-currencies actually being used as currency?

>> No.5215740

People will probably stop making money from it.

still having a hard time imagining how people will pay for cheap things with crypto. it's easy to say 1 dollar, how are we gonna say .000001 btc/eth ?

sure we can say 1 satoshi or something but even that value/term will change over time

But wouldn't wider-adoption lead to more demand and less "that bubble will burst soon" talk? More demand means more people buying, so those who already have bitcoin will see an increase in value until something else eventually replaces it.

The term mBTC, as in milli-Bitcoin has been around for a while now.

Only a few will get picked though, the rest will get dumped. Whoever is holding to the losers will probably kill themselves. Have to make money before the currency winners are picked.

Good. Bitcoin was created to fight inflation by making it impossible to print new money, so instead people have taken to making-up new currencies all the time, which is hurting Bitcoin's potential value.

Yep, funny thing is that we can probably expect at least 10x more new coins before this occurs. Everyone is trying to get rich but a lot if people are going to be holding even after their picked coin becomes worthless.

The only smart thing to do when it comes to new cryptos is mine instead of buy.
