whoa I guess if something doesn't manifest as literal death within two years it must be harmless, I better take up smoking. So why didn't you get your boosters?

Population reduction theories aside, absolute best case scenario you took an untested, rushed "vaccine" for a virus with a deathrate the same as a regular flu. A vaccine that was made for the sole purpose of enriching big phrama companies via taxpayer/printed money who made fucking millions creating your "free" shot and who are also completely unliable for any negative side effects that may or may not occur over the rest of your life, whether they be major or minor, in two weeks or twenty years. No refunds.

Your "death in two moar weeks" shit is a strawman. Anyone with two braincells knows that taking the shot was completely unnecessary and fucking retarded. You know it yourself or why else would you stop at just the one? If it's so harmless then go out and get your daily booster. After all, if you don't you're literally killing people.

From the article
>The first established settlement in Rough and Ready was made in the fall of 1849 by a mining company from Wisconsin, known as the Rough and Ready Company, during the California Gold Rush.[4] Their leader, Captain A. A. Townsend, named the company after General Zachary Taylor (nicknamed "Old Rough and Ready") who had recently been elected the 12th President of the United States. Captain Townsend had served under Taylor when he commanded the American Forces during the Black Hawk War (1832). California had three towns so named of which this one survives.[5]

>The town declared its secession from the Union as The Great Republic of Rough and Ready on 7 April 1850, largely to avoid mining taxes, but voted to rejoin the Union less than three months later on 4 July.[6] The old republic is celebrated annually as a way to attract tourism and as a point of local pride

Gas is a good bet, let's suppose euRope does have enough gas for the coming winter, if we assume it's mild, they're going to have to replenish come spring and come the summer offenses, gas supplies from EastEuro are going to be further tightened and then next winter is going to be the problem. Oil is similar with the US needing to restock the SPR after the midterms, so I'd be inclined towards producers and refiners, esp after OPEC+, add the fact that with nuclear now being part of clean energy and the long build up that will take to get plants (back)online uranium is a longterm bet, same for US solar companies in AZ,NM,CA,NV, witch with the increased demand for high spec solar pannels will add to the demand of silver, with the EV trend being decades off, Li-Ion batteries are here to stayin tbe hybrids though so Oil should'nt go too quick while Lithium goes up, also the Japs are more focoused on Hydrogen vehicles so maybe speculate there too.

Nobody uses them as they are outdated relics of ancient history. Because nobody uses them as currency or industry, then they don't need to be mined. I dont know mich about the auto industry but I saw it makes up like 40% of global exports every year, if you include fuel and support products with cars themselves. Massive.

Does most oil become diesel or gasoline? I assume diesel due to its tranport and industrial uses. Consumers dont matter so much. Still, OPEC and big oil wouldnt let something like this hurt their market share, I doubt it would replace gas stations or usher in a wave of diesel engine cars.

I also saw that kerosene was largely used for lamp oil, which was valuable. This is why gasoline (a waste product) happened to be used with early autos, but it worked out to be the best option anyways

Also Surge, Vermilion, Tamarack, Crew, Obsidian and Birchcliff are good to name a few o/g producers. Integrated majors like Exxon are also good. Wrong. Drillers are drillers. Producers hire driller to drill, redrill wells. An oil company may own land and mineral rights, or lease mineral rights and hire "operators" to run the field (produce the oil and gas and operate/maintain all the infrastructure). There are many types of companies that provide different services. Some drill, some log, some specialize in explosives, some frac, some provide highly specialized data analysis, comminications, etc. There are small, mid, and large operators that are not the well knows names if you are not in the industry, or not in the area where they operate. Some only operate in one state, or maybe two or three. Do more research and see if you want to invest in service company or an operator, or regular oil company.>>52150159

you already are paying 5 times what fuel cost when I was your age. You'll pay whatever it costs and new generations will come along and never realize it even went up.

Like when I was 17 I washed dishes at a diner full time. I had a 2 bedroom apartment, an old camaro that got 8 mpg and I cruised the main strip all day every day. I could afford all that plus food and utilities on a single dishwasher salary. You guys can't afford that now on what many professionals make. You're already paying far more for fuel and everything else.

>> No.52211062

Wage stagnation is part and parcel of inflation. Always has been. Prices go up at the central bank targeted rate and wages don't go up at that same rate. It's baked into the cake. Part of the system.

not really since inflation affects all shoppers the same while wages change at very different rates for different people.

Most here are in a class that's been getting screwed for centuries and things are only going to get worse. But that's not my problem.

There will likely come a day when green fuel that costs 10 times what fossil fuels do will be the cheap alternative. At that point most of you won't be buying fuel. This will probably happen in your lifetime, it's already happening.

I'm a bit shocked when libertarian types are blissfully unaware how the US subsidizes oil, gas, mining, farming, and literally every business in its borders.

Your taxes pay to pump oil, then your taxes pay oil companies to profit, and then you get taxed again several times when you buy it.

same with green energy or corn or anything else you buy in the US.

Yes, i.e. rate of inflation > rate of wage inflation for the vast majority of the populace. It's always been this way.
>There will likely come a day when green fuel that costs 10 times what fossil fuels do will be the cheap alternative
With government subsidies and deliberate shunning of fossil fuel investment, perhaps. Which may or may not happen. These green policies will be put to the test in times of hardship like what we're entering. When there are ample reserves of cheap resources just waiting to be pulled out of the ground and people are in misery, the political will to get those resources suddenly increases. There is a whole bunch of oil and gas that's just begging to be drilled and fracked just on U.S. soil alone. Whenever the government and the populace are ready, it can be extracted. Russia also has a lot of fossil fuels but Uncle Sam wanted to do away with Nord Stream so Europe won't be getting anything from them even if they had the political will.

We're all fucked anyways, but fossil fuels will only become more popular in this kind of high energy price environment. Pain will be felt before fossil fuels will inevitably come to the rescue

ecologically, if I can trick a million people into working together, I can always destroy neighboring tribes that only have a few hundred because they believe in absolute freedom and honesty.

and it's human nature to attack people that disagree with us, so the larger, wealthier tribe will win out even if it never attacks anyone.

I'll be up in 5 hours to dress out and hunt bear again. You fellas keep it in the green

>> No.52229283

In the easy chair with my boots on
Melted whiskey in my hand
I couldn't have been asleep for more than three hours
Time to go to work again
Once more I beat the sunrise
And there's a dark breeze at my door
Raise the water from the well up to my face
How could a man like me be poor
As long as there's water
Chilly wet water
Gimme some of that cool water
Well, my horse's eyes are glassy
He breathed the city in his lungs last night
I lead his natural body
To the trough to regain his might
Red rooster crow them blues here
That Old Blue he round the bull
And the mornin's crying rays of sunrise
It hasn't rained for three weeks full
As long as there's water
Chilly well water
Gimme some of that cool, cool water
Venus light is rising
I lay my buckets inside the shed
And there's a man I see - a stranger
Leaning on the gate outside my fence
Said "I'm riding out from the city
Where they started holding water back last night
I was hoping I could get a drink from your well
Before I ride on to another city tonight"
Before I ride on to another city tonight
Before I ride on to another city tonight
Chilly well, chilly well water
Cool well, chilly well water
Before I ride on

Basel III only puts a bit tighter reserve requirements for banks right? I think Basel III is a nothingburger, the real bull case for gold is just the collapsing economy

Basel III lets financial institutions count gold as a tier 1 asset instead of just US treasuries, you would think some forwarding looking big boys would start diversifying some USD into gold while it's cheap to do so.

I'm too lazy to search but I think Michael Oliver number is already broken by this point, we're 20.5$

I think the only number that is around 21$ that matter (that I recall) is David Brady, but he is too technical and no momenthum.

All in all, very good for now, we're seeing the light.
