Why do you think S&P is being dumped into oblivion? Real investors with real money know this stone-age style economy won't be viable in the future.
Business will be done using the block chain technology which is why wall street is preparing to enter bitcoin heavily in 2015.

I don't own any bit shekels but srsly do you retards not realize that your precious paper shekels are worth nothing more than the paper they're printed on?

The Burgeristani dollar isn't based on anything at all...

Whereas buttcoins are based off of their difficulty to obtain, and they are pretty much tamper proof(meaning goldberg couldn't print out 3 trillion bitcoins and cause massive inflation)

Currencies are valuable based on how willing people are to accept them in exchange for goods and services

USD are good almost anywhere. Bit coin are good at a few trendy places that wanted some easy PR, and only because those places exchange the BTC for USD immediately. BTC is a joke.

Labor theory of value died decades ago. I could build a car from scratch by hand if i wanted to, but that doesn't mean I can charge a rate above what companies with automated production lines charge just because it was hard to make. You are delusional.

So you're saying that the burgerstan shekel is worth something because people are willing to trade using them...

So whats stopping bitcoins from becoming more and more accepted? What's stopping it from becoming the future currency that is traded with around the world?

They're getting more and more accepted as time progresses... I don't see your point.

>So you're saying that the burgerstan shekel is worth something because people are willing to trade using them...

I could drop you anywhere on the planet with a bundle of $20 bills and you could buy whatever you wanted. Russia, China, Africa, South America... they'll all be happy to take my worthless "burgerstani shekels" off of my hands in exchange for goods and services.

If you tried to do that with Bitcoin, 99.999% of those places would kick you out without a second though.

Bit coin is inherently undesirable to the average person because they have no need or desire for anonymous transactions. It is also more complicated and not intuitively obvious. It's also not the currency they are paid at work.

There is no real reason for the vast majority of people to switch. It's a niche product targeted on an audience that most people want to avoid. Being rare and unique alone does not make something valuable.

> The Burgeristani dollar isn't based on anything at all...

Yeah, man, only the most powerful entity in the world requires hundreds of millions of people to pay taxes to it in US dollars. Who cares about "burgeristani dollar" anyway?
