Ever since my mom got "promoted" to GM for a failing location that the owner refused to spend on required facility repairs because he was planning on closing it anyway, I've been convinced that women tend to only be put in charge of things when they're about to collapse and the Old Boys' Club don't want one of their own in the wreckage.
