You raise an interesting point, but, considering only the benefits and not the risks isn't giving you a full picture. Divorce rape exists. Alimony exists. Common law marriage exists in some places. Houses are for boomers. Who wants the life experience of being cooped up in a box and having to commute for any fun or work. And worry about breaking one of 150 covenants and offending your neighbours. Who wants to be any easy target for ever increasing taxation, or lawyers after your business doesn't work out.
I prefer my life experience to be about walking in nature with my dog, hitting the gym, ogiling girls at the library, enjoying good food at restaurants with all the money I save on land tax (lol house cucks are STILL paying rent) and mortgage interest (lmao they think the "own" the house) I don't spend my time using various rooms in a house, I only ever used one room, indulging in TV or Gaming experiences. Might get some VR goggles soon and have an even richer experience, using the solar and battery system I built myself, I am quite proud of how well it serves me. Well, would love to stay and chat but there is a full moon drum circle going on down at the beach tonight, I'm going to show of my portable projector and chat up young hippie girl, tomorrow I'll be back to academia to lead a workshop and hit on girls in a beautiful campus. Apartments are also usually located in cities so meeting other people and joining clubs is easier. I bought a house and it’s been good but I’m still a loner with no friends because there’s nothing to do round here except walk my dog.
