You can drive a Tesla from one end of the country to the other in a reasonable amount of time. Other automaker's electric cars lack that consistent fast charging network.

And other automaker's have not yet quite matched Tesla in the range department. The Tesla Model Y (Tesla's most popular model) has an EPA range of 326 miles for the long range version. In comparison, the top version of the Ford Mach E has a 312 mile range; the top VW ID4 has a 275 mile range, to compare two vehicles in the same size bracket.

And then there is the status symbol thing going on, that Tesla has. People buy Teslas because they are Teslas, not because they are electric cars. Sometimes normalfags will fix certain brands as THE example of a product, and changing that is hard.

Something else to point out - Tesla manages that longer range using smaller batteries than its competitors. Not that is super useful for its customers mind you (well aside from somewhat lower charging costs) but as batteries are the most expensive part of an electric car, being able to use less of them is very useful for Tesla's margins. That is one of Tesla's biggest advantages; they have already figured out the whole design & logistics chain to make EVs with fat profit margins, while other automakers are still struggling to make EVs that are profitable.

>> No.51673655

>>51670925
Exactly. As Tesla makes more all-electric vehicles, they make bigger profits. As every other car company makes more all-electric vehicles, they make bigger losses.

theyre a pretty big car company and as far as im aware the only car company that has a network of thousands of charging stations.
and they probably own millions of patents they can jew other car companies out of their market.
and theyve been farming their customers data for a decade, who knows what thatll be worth in the years to come when theyre building self driving delivery trucks.
and their government funded, the same government that has trillions of dollars to waste and an army willing to die defending it

>No idea why normies keep buying this overvalued shit
Because they need to baghold for institutional investors who make up 44% of the stock. Eventually they will dump as god knows there's no signs of TSLA matching the EPS expected of their MC, and with worsening economic conditions less demand for luxury vehicles etc.

Tesla's Growth rate is over 40% and there margins are 30%. The profitability of the business model is fucking insane. There the market leader in a new growing sector, with basically no competition. Regarding apple, the demand for their product has, and likely will remain unprecedented, their margins are also incredible, these MFs print money.

No idea how a car company that sells 1/10 the number of cars as any other car company can be valued at a value greater than all car companies combined. The cars have electric interior door handles that refuse to let you out and 1st responders in when the battery shorts and you get thermal runaway lithium inferno erupting through the floor.
