I keep my seed phrases and copies of my wallets on a no longer supported android phone in my desk drawer. I only turn it on monthly to check on things and then turn it back off. It's connected to my home wifi. I do not use it for anything else and run AV scanner every time. Am I retarded or is this safe?

Yes. any seed phrase connected to the internet is a potential risk. I would put it on an encrypted flash drive and only use it on a computer that has wifi disabled and ethernet unplugged.

Keep them on a paper at least

I would actually be more worried about this than getting hacked.

I printed them all out and have a back up copy on an encrypted USB drive. going to test and validate I can restore on a new device and then put these away in a safe. Thanks, anons.

This. Write it down on a piece of paper. Keep it in your safe with a small PM stack and guns.

Mine are on a USB drive, Tails OS with Persistent Storage. Encrypted and all that shit, I keep them in an old microwave for safe keeping.
