Any anons know how one would go about investing in Russia rn? After the Donbass votes to join them, alot of Ukraine industrial power is coming with it. I can't find a way to get my money in it though, everythings cut off to westerners.

Yeah so I put $80k in $ERUS ETF (MSCI Russia) just before the invasion.

Ishares/Blackrock then decided to "liquidate" the etf. I can't buy or sell, the indicative price is 4 cent making my $80k investment worth $240. If I had bought single shares on the Russian market (gazprom, Lukoil) I would've still had my money. But I went with a diversified etf instead. Fuck Blackrock, don't trust these fuckers.

However if you are deadset on investing in Russia directly then look at domestic Russian industries that were previously filled by EU imports
