Had to deal with the same crap before with this guy and a girl. The project's idea was the guys and he kept adding on more shit even though we had limited time to work. All this on top of the fact we were working independently and whenever I told the guy we needed to join our work way before the deadline he was basically like "Don't worry bro, it'll all work out, lets just keep extending the scope of the project and add X, Y, Z, W." The girl kept trying to make me take over but obviously I wasn't trying to, and just sort of stayed out of it other than making sure we had a version that was presentable done.
