There is no special guest. Smartcon has been rethought out, it seems. The first Smartcon was in 2020 and was called Smartcon 0 (zero) which seemed a bit weird, then last year we were calling it Smartcon 1. You'd think this year would be Smartcon 2 but no, we've ditched that.
They don't seem to be doing the freebie 'swag bag' thing this year, either. I think they're trying to appeal more to enterprise and not to neets sitting in their pyjamas. On the plus side, I got a swag pack last year and have left it untouched. Bit of Chainlink history, right there.
