bought lower than 5k$ so yes

Anyway I got your point: "it was valued at x$ previously and now it's only valued at y$ ahah bitcoin is worth nothing ahah i'm so clever"

what 1BTC = 1BTC implies is that 1BTC will always have value because 1 BTC is worth something (trust in the protocol, electricity used to mine, network effect...). And at worst (let's pretend no one use it anymore) it will always be valued for what it is: 1 BTC = 1 BTC

1BTC!=1BTC
A Bitcoin can be tainted and tracked. You have to be conscious of where your Bitcoin is coming from and going.

1XMR!=1XMR
because Monero can get double spent due to 51% control of 1 pool. Meaning any monero you receive may be reorged into you never having received any

With BTC you have incentives against this because of expensive mining equipment, with XMR you don't/

It's not sad. They really believe in what BTC is supposed to do. I agree with them that it could be the final replacement for the central banking system that is at the core of so many problems.
The way crypto is treated as some sort of get rich quick scheme is so far removed from the ideals that it started it, I'm perfectly fine with seeing it dump and rebuild from the ground.
That said, there's no way I'm buying now, nor do I hold any.

I hold a handful of Bitcoin too but yours just sounds like cope

You wouldn't be happy if BTC crashed back to 2018 levels stop saying otherwise

i would be fine, not really happy but very fine.
anyway that's not the point, i explained why 1 BTC = 1 BTC
honestly i don't even understand what point you are trying to make ? because i know about the "if it's goes low in the futur then you will have less money than today"

>> No.51567997

wrong. 1 pool does not control 51% of the network

besides, bitcoin pools aren't exactly very small either now are they
