i dont understand why with all the technological advancements humanity has made in the last decade, why the majority of humanity is still required to work 5-6 days a week, every week for the entire year. i don't even mind working. its the fucking every. single. god damn. week that tears my mind apart. lets say i get a new job, i can work it 6-8 weeks no problem, maybe i even enjoy the job too... but fuck... there will come a time when i just need a fucking break. maybe a week or two, or just 5 days off, before i get insanely bored and want to work again. but supposedly this is an absolutely unreasonable request in today's world and it just logically makes zero fucking sense. gotta use your pto, or make up some excuse, instead of just saying "hey i've been working hard and i just need some time off to recuperate, i'll be back fresh as new". it seems like humanity as a whole has collectively grinded to a halt because less than 1% of the population wants to reap more money than they even know what to do with. and i really want to know, does this break? or is this a can that gets kicked down the road indefinitely? stagnation seems absolutely detrimental to the human race both individually and as a whole but due to the stranglehold the few have over the majority, it seems predestined to occur at this point without altercation or a change of course

nothing makes sense, humans are retards. simply as that.

Boomers who are now in charge want to inflict the same pain they suffered on everyone else. Literally cull the old and we'd be golden.

I don't understand why people aren't trying to push for a 4 day work week. Id imagine the majority of people are in favor of it.

consider what happens in an increasingly brown (violent) country when its citizens are no longer chained to the wage cage 40+ hours a week. violent crime, drug use, promiscuity, etc. skyrocket. a relatively peaceful and law-abiding society requires that nigger cattle be crushed by the horrible shackles of wageslavery. people with moderately high IQ find do-nothing wfh corporate jobs where they do 20 hours a week of real, actual work.

kek, op just got his first job. Why is it required? because we keep growing in numbers, i dont know if you noticed but there are 8-9 billion fucking humans on this globe and only 5-10% of them have made real technological progress, the demand for shit keeps growing and growing..
automatization and low work hours is a wet dream, a socialist one at that.
you will keep waging for shekelberg and pay your taxes like a good goy

during covid my last job (accounting/finance at a med device company) cut our pay 20% and put us on a 4 day work week for a few months. it was great. useless meetings were eliminated, all of our work got done in 4 days. then our pay was re-instated and we went back to barely getting everything done in 5 days. nigger cattle are hopeless.

Growing up I always wondered how those working full time didn’t go insane with the never ending schedule. Then once I started working I realized yes we do actually get driven to insanity but what else can you do? Absolutely zero surprise we keep seeing new highs in deaths of despair, depression, anxiety, etc. See how popular “therapy” has become. It’s just a result of this endless burn out culture, very little time to gather yourself and focus on what makes life worth living. This message was typed from the bathroom on my 30-minute break.

it breaks when the soil turns to dirt. we are very near a civilization collapse. in your life time bugs will overrun all crops, and you will not be able to grow food. I have foreseen the future. humans kill the entire planet which was self sustaining for millions of years before we got here.

I've been waging in a factory for 10 years straight, on 3rd shift. I'm actually insane from it. I'm about to breakdown and just quit. I need a change of scenery. I don't care what it is, I just need to gtfo of factory work. I've saved up a lot of money, I worked hard, and I'm a really frugal guy. But, I'm just not happy, and I feel like I'll never make it.

I want to work at a jewelry store and eventually get a GIA certification. I want a job where there is air-conditioning and I can dress classy. I want a job where I get to interact with different people on a daily basis. I want to see people smile when I pick out the perfect piece.

I originally wanted to work in Finance, but the college near me charges $120k for a Bachelors of Finance.

i worked in a factory on rotating shifts for a few years. yeah, get out. it's dead end and turns you into a fucking mindless robot slave for mr. shekelberg. get a part time job waiting tables or some other bullshit job that's easy and pays decently with a flexible schedule. it'll make it easier to work while you go back to school.

People are unwilling to share the products of their technology.
Even if we produce enough for 50 billion people, the elites won't share it with us.

That's why AI isn't actually a good thing. It will unemployment and poverty

Because those who hold the world are still boomers and xes, who don't know how technology works. Thats why this shit wont happens in studios, thats run by millenials or zoomers
>hey the technology is here
>since everything is easy with technology, employees should work longer
>because its easier for them, so they should work longer
>t. Boomer bosses

This shit also happens in the education system.
>internet is here
>since everything is on the net, lets give them a bunch more homework
>because everything is easier with internet, they should learn more
>t. Boomer teachers
