most privacy coins will be regulated out of existence like tornado if it gets any real world usage as ITS BUILT ON TOP OF THE PROTOCOL WHERE PRIVACY IS OPTIONAL AND IS NOT THE BASE PROTOCOL ITSELF WHERE PRIVACY IS DEFAULT
only monero is private by default and monero is held by poltards
privacy coins in general are for complete midwits and you should just avoid them in general

You sure about that? Plenty of people here who don't use /pol/ and even students during my time at my Uni's school of computing talked about Monero. I'd wager at least a couple of them have used Monero to buy some fun stuff off the DNMs. But unfortunately you do have a point that privacy coins, being a middle finger to the system, will likely get flat-out outlawed.

I know that's very possible, but what evidence do we have that Monero is truly compromised? Or is it just intuition that A) They secretly have the hardware / software needed to crack it, they're just not saying it for obvious reasons. B) They'd use it as a honeypot to lure dissenters of interest?
