that's what I hate about crypto - it fucked up my value system. I dont even consider 20-30% gains worth attention, while a year ago I would have gone allin on that kind of ROI. There is no end to to this - the more money you put and make, the more hugry you get. It's hard to stay sane and be happy with, an already incredible, 2x increase per year... Fuck.

I kinda feel you. The happiness I get from gains is very shortlived and I focus instead on what I'm going to invest my new money into.

It totally makes sense why big investors drive basic cars because taking the money out to buy one is just a waste. That money could instead be 10x in a few years. I live very basic and put half my income into crypto. I even eat premade meals to save more for crypto. I don't want to pull until I hit 2 mil.

I saw good gains early on with a meager start of $7200. I'm up to $27k now. Been doing this for 6 weeks.

I thought "wow, I'll be really surprised if I keep investing and my portfolio is less than $100k this time next year." I haven't added anything and now I'm more than a quarter there. Now I'm thinking "Wow, I'll be really disappointed if this isn't $100k by July."

But the faster things move, the faster your brain adjusts. The sooner it becomes "the new normal." I saw my bags fluctuate $9,000 over the last several days. I know I can avoid panic selling, but it's troubling to think what my appetite will be once I hit $100k which I think is doable. Is $500k the next goal? $1MM? $5MM?

Crypto will grow to $4 Trillion. There will be several 100x and 1000x coins in that time. Pick a few and try to get about $5-10k worth... that's just been my strategy.

I have lost sleep over the lack of vision I allowed myself to operate under when I 1st heard of crypto years ago. Thankfully I at least jumped in early this year finally.
