my point is: it's of national security importance to not close the shorts, in fact owning gamestop is an act of treason to the current system but the only reason they can't stop it is because foreign stockholders own it which has created an entangled web of lies impossible to unravel without taking the whole system down with it.
add foreign anti-nato/globalism interests and even rouge algos/AIs into the mix and it becomes obvious how the "economy" is now a ship with many captains fighting for the steering wheel.
the question is, will the destination be the abyss or treasure island?

It's funny that even though they've been cheating since Jan 2021, they still don't have the power to outright end it. If they did indeed have the power to outright end this, they would have done it in Jan 2021. There would have been more than a year's worth of "forget GameStop" headlines and the price wouldn't be this volatile. If all they can do is kick the can, no amount of cheating will let them do this forever. It's quite clear by now that hitting a delete button and making all of this disappear is not an option for them.

That’s the part I think most people haven’t woken up to yet. The fact that these hedge funds and market makers are an unofficial branche of the us government, and that what they were doing was apart of the USAs planned obsolescence of old companies that they feel were 1. Not moving the us into the future as leader and innovator and/or 2. Becoming stagnant where a different model of the same business would have better economic effects. They are apart of the “economic” branch who’s job it is is to protect USAs hegemony at all costs. What they were doing was unofficially government sanctioned. That’s why the situation is still unresolved, because they need to find a way to go forward from here where they can continue to do what they have been doing while also making the situation seem resolved.

Too bad for them such a way doesn't exist. If blockchain based instant settlement happens and no human market makers are required, naked shorting becomes impossible.

Makes sense. The last thing they want happening is for their racket to be universally exposed. All hell would break through if that happened. However they also can't sweep this under the rug considering how many people own GME. So I really believe that they are trying to figure a way to have their cake and eat it too; resolve this situation but still survive and have things go back to the way it was. I really do not think that is possible for them.

Not necessarily. Maybe they've exhausted all of their usual day-to-day tricks, but if they need more explicit government intervention they could just be stalling for time until they've greased the right palms or just gotten the correct parties on board. If you have enough capital, there's always some sort of plan you can attempt.

It's a pet peeve of mine that this general acts like the squeeze is a sure thing. Nothing in life is ever certain

The best thing they can hope for is that we get rich and become evil like them by our own will. But even with the amounts of hedonism we plan to embark upon, a lot of us still have a better moral compass than all the psychopaths in wall street and would still turn to Christ in our hours of need. Once we replace hedonism with marriage and parenthood, they can't rely on us being anything like them or enacting their plans. Nothing can stop what is coming and Christ will help us through all of this.
