That's fine, but the lack of liquidity doesn't work for my intraday in and out like a robbery strategy. I would have locked in a guaranteed 1 to 5% quick gain on SPY at exactly 3:47pm based on the price movement, but instead I fucked around with UPRO because I already won for the day and I wanted to check it out with house money and then the bid ask didn't even move with a $1 price move in 1 minute. So I turned a $450 win into a $400 win but I just feel cheated out of the $50 when that $50 would have been mine had I just played SPY again like always. Lesson learned but fuck that shit I will leave it for others with not time sensitive strategies.

Turn your burner up to max power

Sear each side until they’re crispy

Well, a few thoughts on that stuff. My first thought is that Wall St almost certainly is already using the most appropriate technology for whatever it is they do. NoSQL and big data processing in general are both a couple decades old at this point, so if it's applicable to financial analysis, I'm sure they're using NoSQL already and have been for some time.

So I would guess that's not the future of finance, but rather the present. With regards to big data and data analysis, AI certainly is the future though. Machine learning and big data are very much intertwined; big data is used to train models, or to look at it differently, models are used to make sense out of big data. I am certain Wall St will use (and probably already does use) machine learning models trained on stock market data to make predictions. I'm sure they have models trained on company fundamentals, and models trained on raw price action, and the future is probably going to be improving those models with newer AI and newer neural net architectures etc.

One other thing is that machine learning and big data analysis is not necessarily just for messy data. In the realm of Wall St, for instance, I imagine a lot of their data might actually be pretty clean, but just so voluminous that it requires big data technology to store and run computations upon, and big data analysis / machine learning to make sense of.
