As someone who deals with high-end luxury post-codes, I can tell you now there is 0 chance of you ever being able to buy in these areas as a middle-upper class person on a software engineering income, dont care even if your some higher up software lead developer on $500k or something, sorry its not not happening.

Let me help you understand this clearly - basically all the nice areas you want to live in, where maybe your grandparents bought a house 50+ years ago? Yeah, those places are being bought up by professional athletes, celebrities, chinese businessman, etc - you will never find these places being sold for cheap, period.

The house my grandparents bought in 1960s for about $15k. Well a captain of a famous football team just bought the house that went for sale next door to them, this guy is on a 8 figure income. This is just 1 example of the people moving into my grandparents post code. My grandparents were working-class all their life, it just so happened their working class area turned into a extremely high net worth place to live.

These places will never become available to you unless you're in the top 1%. Its done and over with, the people moving into these areas dont get liquidated.
