I am 99% convinced that at least the initial version of staking will be released either before or at SmartCon
that being said, I don't think it will affect the price in any major way, so I plan to keep holding until then and reassess

Let's be realistic, no one actually cares about Chainlink releasing staking. Its consensus mechanism isn't holding anyone back from buying it. The release of staking won't have any effect on the price.
