I don't disagree there, it's illogical to claim that someone making a miner makes it inherently legit, but I do consider it a good thing that more miner producers are coming into play. The 2 miner producer thing was pretty often mentioned in 2021. We said there would be more and now there are more.

that's literally what they announced as part of their $1M launch giveaway promotion. They gave away 4 on the livestream and the rest to the mining club. There's probably some quid pro quo involved and the mining club probably is small, but that's what they said (don't you trust chinks like bitmain?) And yeah, the KDA devs believe ASICs are more stable than GPUs/CPUs because of two main reasons:
1.) So you can't just switch 5% of the ETH network over to KDA and control it
2.) If anyone does break the ASIC resistance of an algorithm (it's happened before) then virtually overnight they control the network.
It's an interesting theory so let's see how it plays out. The downside is obviously that it shuts out anyone except the Chinese and the lucky gamblers from mining (imagine buying a KD6 ASIC 6 months ago for $40k and it now being completely worthless after the coin price tanked and bitmain BTFOs your ASIC).
