What's amazing is that even with the assorted fees and jacked up prices, these food delivery businesses are still losing money. Doordash posted a $200 million dollar loss last quarter, for example. Hopefully with interest rates rising the VC money will dry up & these retarded businesses will die out.

I mean some businesses do run at a loss for an extended time, then flip to profitable (see Amazon or Tesla), but in those cases said businesses are having to spend a ton of money to set up durable infrastructure, like warehouses & factories. Food delivery apps don't have anywhere near that kind of set up costs.
