I think relationship is fine if you live separate.

Can relate. Had a small 25M apartment. Cheap rent, separate kitchen bathroom toilet and a living room with balcony. Didn’t decorate much but it was tidy and minimal and comfy. Barely had to move to make coffee, pee, cook, sleep and super fast and easy to tidy. Didnt even need a vacuum.
I think a lot of guys are happy to live that way. My wife never complained till we moved in together and suddenly wanted all this crap.
