Approximately many "tps" does the global real estate market run?
Not trying to shill bitcoin but I'm curious how well it would be able to function as a settlement layer for major high-value transactions in its current state.

Playing around with some bullshit numbers in Google, total market size is $3.7T, average house price is maybe $100k globally, 3.7T / 100k = 37 million txs / 365 / 24 / 60 / 60 = 1.17 tps

Probably very wrong but it's definitely well below the 1000s, however this is new sales only if you count payments on existing properties it is far more let alone when you factor in the payments getting forwarded to MBS
