In a car or maybe a tent

>> No.51383136

i live off 15 dollars per day
>shop once per week for groceries and nothing else
>no addiction (smoke, drug, alcohol, eating out...)
>no subscription (software, streamers, onlyfans...)
>walk everywhere, only drive car when moving heavy stuff is required
>don't run air conditioning / heating
>don't buy anything in general really
it's a pretty comfy life. when you spend your time with the default assumption you have no money, all the consoomer traps fade away

I make 17/HR here's how I do it. Basically just be a parasite for as long as possible.
I'm 22 & live with parents. Get most of my food from them.
No subscriptions, mooch of my bros Netflix.
I'm also on parents healthcare.
No car either, I just bike or walk everywhere.
Monthly expenses:
$16 - alcohol
$35 - fastfood
When I lived in an apartment 2 years ago I earned even less about $10/HR.
My monthly expenses back then were:
Rent: $450/month
Electric bill: $50
Groceries: $200
Fast food: $30
Alcohol: $12
Back then I'd make about $9-10k. So after expenses I'd usually be saving at least 1-2k. Usually more though because I was insanely frugal.

Close. Do storage unit + planet fitness membership. Gates, cameras, and locks at the unit provide safety. Even better if you can find a nice climate controlled unit with electrical hookups so you can charge your phone and have a microwave and minifridge.
Its more expensive than the tent but its 100% worth it, especially if you live in the south where units are like $100/Mo for a cozy 10x10. You can prepay the rent for a year with like two weeks of work and then quit your job if you want.

This gives me an idea, why don't poorfags take a vow of extreme poverty and move with the seasons like our ancestors did? Find a job down south in the winter, save up for 6-7 months and find transportation up north for the summer so you don't ever need to use hvac services to survive and stay comfy. Rinse and repeat until you save up enough to move on to something better (you will achieve this rather quickly after a few years). This way, you wouldn't own anything to spend money on extra space, save for essentials you carry with you at whatever tent or temporary shelter you sleep at. No pets, no subscriptions, and discounted phone services you can get from some government program. Go to soup kitchens to save on food, and get EBT for the grocery store. Use gyms to shower and work out (the only recurring service you should spend money on).

You live in the midwest, and you don't spend on useless shit. That's pretty much it. I currently make $19 per hour, which isn't much more, and I do fine. I have enough money for a nice 1 bedroom apartment, I have a used car that is paid off, I have enough money to go bars when I want or travel for concerts.

I don't have any debt. I don't have kids. It's pretty easy to be honest. Not ideal. I'm not really saving anything, but I can live just fine

Treat your paycheck like you are squeezing blood from a stone. Save and invest. If you are unable to save then you have to get a second job or find a better one. Don’t waste your time, you only live once and if you live paycheck to paycheck with nothing to show for it you’re gonna have a bad time.
Get on your computer, open excel and start combing over every penny you spend. Learn what you can do to keep your money. Know where it is going.
Learn how/when to shop. A simple coupon that saves you $3 is just as much as a $100 invested for a year with a 3% yield.

$600/week is 2,400/month, pretty easily doable given >>51385179 and >>51383136. I am also in the Midwest, single, no kids, and paid off used car, and only go through about $1,100-1,400 per month including all expenses AND discretionary spending. I am the millennial that is killing all those industries you hear about on the news.
