what the hell are you supposed to do for the rest of the time while you wait days/weeks for your trade to profit/loss?

I have a job, since this type of trading is slow I make money other ways to grow, and this way a lot of my leverage comes from the future so I don't worry if it goes down since I can always play the long term game and it will be the bottom at some point for good companies and crypto

the real successful ones, not the twitter larps, will have a position that lasts for months. if they aren't confident enough, they just won't take it.
its easier in crypto because cycles are short enough to be useful than the decade+ long traditional market cycles.

the idea is when you're at that point you're already wealthy enough to be mostly retired anyway, you're just your own wealth manager, so you just live your retirement.

I'm in and out intraday everyday unless something goes wrong and feel like holding overnight is the best move, which is rare for me because I would usually just prefer to lock in the loss and play fresh tomorrow. Longer term options trading is a different game than me just looking to profit $0.05 -$0.25 cents a contract. Don't be a greedy pig, you exercise, do yard work, bookkeeping, research, shit post in /smg/ to fill up the idle time while you have downtime
