Why is there a simultaneous pump of btc and alts at the same time? The 'they just trade each other' explanation doesn't cut it because what happens now implies that some entity is throwing simultaneously money on all of them.

Why would bots buy simultaneously alts a btc? I don't see what logic would trigger that.

Strong correlation in price movement of different assets before a mega dump

>> No.51344381

>>51344361
What correlation? They were all going their marry way without any significant feature on their graphs and then they suddenly all pump.

The only oddity appears to be that btc seems to have gotten more money than the alts.

>>51344287
fucking newfag retards I swear. Bots buy alts and that makes the chart follow it, they do this because they make money when people start panicing or fomoing the bots are paperhanded but they never fail to sell or buy a big candle

I've thought this was a trap the past couple days. and it has cost me alot of money. it feels like a trap. a massive trap. crypto is overbought as fuck right now. don't know what the fucking MMs are thinking

>> No.51344415

Simple. The majority of crypto is held by institutions because they get 100x leverage on their holdings. Its hedgies pump and dumping these assets due to outcomes on speculative bets. They all track with each other because banks dont fundamentally care which cryptos they are using so long as they are popular enough its reliably stable for their algos.

The average of the market generally doesn't invest in just one specific crypto, they invest in crypto as a whole. If there is positive market sentiment, people buy all kinds of crypto, and if there is negative sentiment, people sell all kinds of crypto.

to be fair: the thread mainly mentions one exchange, today you would have to see if you could observe certain behaviour at a number of exchanges.

looked at it a bit, weak claim. it's just "he have have withdrawn outside business hours" of that specific exchange which a) proves nothing it itself even if it were true b) they may just lock orders to withdrawal and not withdrawals they do themselves after they have the orders.
