Nah. Most of us companies get their bread from America. Long as domestic economy is fine its good to go. Americans aren't suffering. They're buying nonstop everywhere and everything not nailed down. Corporate earnings for q2 were fine. The fed will keep raising but the market has a policy to follow and will keep climbing. There isn't going to be mass layoffs. Companies don't need to do it.

precisely correct

they were notorious for spending a gazillion dollars on Facebook advertisements, which briefly made them the most downloaded e-commerce platform, but once they stopped, revenue fell 90% and the company has been a complete shitshow with both the founder and new CEO now leaving abruptly.

cash on hand is $1.2 billion with a market cap of $800 million and no debt though, which is all they have going for them at the moment. they're no longer bleeding cash out the ass either. them not drilling on this news makes me suspect that a buyout rumor is floating around, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.

It's a 7 year cycle. The last time was 2015, where the crises were forgettable. The time before that was 2008's crash. Then there was 1994 when the bond market crashed but that was also minor. The one before that was 1987's stock market crash. 1980 just had a panic over interest rates and inflation like what we already got this year. Basically it's a coin toss.

Pretty much this. It'll be like one of those year 2000 charts. During the depression, it was "utilities companies" that people lost their ass on. Those were kind of like the precursor to tech companies, and semiconductors. Utilities never EVER came back, and are kind of seen as a boring play now.

The question is will semiconductors continue to be crack in all but name. Will subsidies cuck these companies that are already cucked enough to begin with asking for socialized bailouts, and will there be a war with sanctions. So many questions. No one knows.

Neither. I just always assume that I'm bothering other people, so I avoid interacting with them as much as possible. If I actually do have to talk to someone, I'll end it quickly because I don't want to bother them. Then later I'll think, "No, I don't think I was actually bothering that person, we could have talked longer," but then even later I'll realize, "Yes, I was definitely bothering that person; best thing to do is never talk to them or even go to that place again." I always assume that I've ruined someone's day just by interacting with them, and it feels bad, worse than being alone.
