Just came back to the news about Binance and this is honestly as bullish as it can get. First, although the burn won’t be impacting spot/maring on Binance now doesn’t mean they won’t implement it later. Second, I’ve read some comments on TR discord that mentioned that the 2.5T Binance wallet has been showing activity. It’s very likely that they’ll stake the amount before the burn is implemented. If this happens it’s literally 2.5T out of circulation in a snap. Also this will probably make people start moving funds to Bunance instead of other CEXs which in the future, if they do implement burn on spot/margin will just make the burn crazy. This is such a god tier play from them it’s unbelievable.

yeah I know, I'm counting on the IBCs being reopened eventually... just wanted to buy some LUNC on the cheap and hodl for a year or two (my main stack is Terra Station).

one question tho: I've done everything you outlined above and it worked - I swapped the ATOM for LUNC via Keplr and Frontiers, but it won't let me withdraw the LUNC ("Transfers are disabled due to instability."). I know you can't pull the coins out of Osmo, but I thought they'd be in my wallet. or will they have to remain on the network in the 'deposits' section? what I'm asking is, are the funds safu? When you make this high of an investment, you're not just going to let 1.2% of it be burnt, you are in a much longer game than anyone in these boards and Binance is a big company, so the LUNC he bought, at higher and continuously growing prices will mean higher quarterly and yearly results for Binance.

The burn is not intended for this wallet. It would take a massive amount of transactions, lot's of unrealized profits, and dumping it during the burn, although it would burn a significant amount, would inevitably crash the market, people would lose trust once again and the chain wouldn't be revived because this will mean that the burn did not work as intended as the price crashed to oblivion.

So at this point, there is only one move to be done to ensure the sustainability and growth of the price, chain, burn and everything else. He will stake the coins. He will remove them from circulating supply and overnight, you'll get a massive price increase from half of the circulating supply being locked away. Every month or so, small amounts corresponding to a % of the burnt amount of the corresponding month will be unstaked and sold, having little impact on the price while netting higher and higher profits.
