Plenty of examples of obvious plays being priced incorrectly. As a recent example, this oil crisis was inevitable the moment Biden entered office, but it took over a year to be priced in relatively correctly.
Usually markets are accommodating the fact that at least one investor out there is guessing wrong. It takes time for them to accept the certainty of their loss.

If TWTR did not have this guaranteed 35% return, then there would be no point in buying it right now. Over time, markets naturally approach a level of efficiency, but they're never actually efficient. In a truly efficient market there would be no profit incentive and therefore no reason to participate. It's a paradox.
