Anyway, yeah, china is fucked. Covid is just getting more contagious and they have nearly zero herd immunity. Their vaccine also sucks. Everyone here is so paranoid about the vaccines but here's a good example of the shit situation you are in if you don't have vaccines that work.
Hong Kong relaxed covid restrictions and that caused a great increase in the number of people with covid in HK. There is so much travel between hk and china mainland that it's spreading covid around. The only way out of this is if they buy the US vaccine en masse but the communist government there is too retarded to swallow their pride and so will have their pride beat out of them as reality proceeds to kick ass like it always does.

They are not collapsing. RMB gets devalued by ~10% and HKD will lose the dollar peg sometime over the next 6 months. Or maybe the CCP will add to the HK foreign reserves to pretend that they didn't kill HK and things are fine. But that would be supporting foreign speculators which would be against the communist ethos.
