Bobo too dumb to understand that in a bear market you sell the rumour and buy the news. Opposite of a bull market

there are people who dont realize transitioning to PoS lowers the supply of eth needed to attack the network from 51% to 34%

Retard here; why will the change from PoW to PoS make the price surge and what will stop a potential dump or scenario like >>51284737
mentions?
I'm tempted to fomo but I'm not trying to get btfo even harder than I already have been.

It's a tokenomics update, look up "triple halvening". Also it is basically selling ETH out and opening it up to institutional capture because instead of needing to get into the mining business large investors can just buy ETH for control of the network. Nobody is going to 34% attack the network because the ETH foundation has too much of the supply.
Yes, it's a centralized VC shitcoin, but it's the premiere centralized VC shitcoin and it will continue to pump. I'm not an ETH maxi but I'm not going to miss out on this.

you mean instead of 51% of the hashrate they need 34% of the supply. that could be even more expensive.

Nobody in the dev team got the full vision. Code is being slapped on and it's been used to pump the price up this far.
To add to your point the only thing thst gives me confidence in this ponzi scheme is that both btc and eth maxis are in the same boat if not entirely the same people.
Real crypto innovation and adoption will continue on, but has been completely seperated from the speculators in my honest opinion, because either you're following the get-rich-quick herd mentality or you see legitimate use and utility in projects, where all projects somehow have a selling point to all normies as well, but they get lost in the technicalities. Eth got a lower selling point, however, because of the ridiculus fees and unstable, hackable system continuing to develop attack vectors and even normies can't avoid to hear about.
