Asking for a friend.
If someone wanted to cash out, how would one move funds around without being subject to any UK tax. Friend is dual nationality in an EU country (Eastern Urop) so can get it into his second country (he doesn't live there, but has passport).
Any advice would be great. I'll pass it on

Is Jersey a good shout? I hear no CGT on crypto. Anyone Amy experience?
How would one go about it? Would one need to become a Jersey resident?

HMRC are really clamping down on small Tax avoidance. They have new systems in place which can read bank accounts.

Do so at your own risk. In saying that, HMRC are very understanding when it comes to financial management and do not rule over a person who makes the effort.

Sauce: I have a friend who is an accountant (40 years). A client of his hadn't paid tax for 3 years, by mistake. HMRC asked for backdates, then asked for £ 125k in tax.

The accountant went through this guys books and it turned out HMRC actually owed him £ 6,000.00.

Fire Personal is an app based account. You get a GBP sterling and Euro bank account with IBAN
That's how I transfer to Coinbase (after converting through Revolut)

Just remember, the blockchain is forever and every transaction is public. If you bought through an exchange where you have to give any of your details (bank account, ID, name, address), you WILL be found eventually.
