Yeah, I've been given a few defective barbells (the bearing gets dished out because people slam them, so they're a cutting hazzard, so you just grind the bearing out and replace it), a few plates where the plastic housing is split, and I got a free perfectly functional hacksquat (they got a new and nicer model).
I've only worked there for like 6 months.
