Anecdotally the car traffic in Raleigh, NC is much higher than it was in 2020, 2021 and the first part of 2022. Parking lots at retail locations are likewise more full than they have been for a couple years.

I don't know if we can ever match 4Q2019 as far as economic expansion again but people do not seem to be acting like Great Depression 2 is a few months away.

Maybe the fact that people don't seem to expect it is how we should know it's coming, but it is hard to envision when so many people are eating out and shopping and business seems to be relatively strong.

Thoughts?

The psychiatric hospital I work at was unable to dose a violent patient with ativan because we are out of it and there's a nationwide shortage.
Multiple critical supplies are in short supply because of the supply chain issue. From medications to batteries for the cots on the ambulance.
The supply chain crisis is just one aspect of the wider economic breakdown. We are also at crisis level staffing and will soon have to look at turning away patients who desperately need treatment.
Fuck you, Pollyannna.

Hey fellow triangle bro, did you move here like the rest of California? That said, the biden admin is unironically right that we're not really in a depression, but in some sort of Schrodinger's economic paradigm that changes depending on how you look at it. That said, we're definitely teetering on something. What that is, IMO, is up in the air. History moves forward.

The yield curve being 30 points inverted is completely normal.
Healthy economies often experience two consecutive quarters of negative gdp growth, that's never been the definition of a recession.
Every time in history inflation has risen to 9%, it's come back down to normal without a recession.
We've always been at war with Eurasia.

Don't you worry
Don't you worry 'bout a thing
'Cause everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be alright
So don't you worry
Don't you worry 'bout a thing
'Cause everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be alright
It's gon' be al-, be alright, thumbs up vibe
Ready for the night, lit like a light
'Bout to take a flight, get higher than a kite
Floatin' on the sky, look mama, I can fly
I feel so alive, I'ma live my best life
Do just, do just what I like
Get de-, get de-, get depressed
I was down now I rise up
Head up and my eyes up
I keep getting wiser
Then I realize that everything will be
Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Kay, ayy-ayy, ayy-ayy, okay
This is how we do it, baby, this is what we say
Eso es lo que tú y yo vamo' a hace'
Don't you worry
Don't you worry 'bout a thing
'Cause everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be alright
So don't you worry
Don't you worry 'bout a thing
'Cause everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be alright
It's gon' be o-, be okay (ayy)
Work hard, play hard, that's the only way (ayy)
I'ma live my life like every day's a holiday (ayy)
Time to celebrate (ayy), time to elevate
Hold up, wait
Tres, cuatro, cinco, seis
Take it to the top, top, top, like, ooh
We don't stop, stop, keep on movin' makin' moves
Take a shot, shot, take a shot, take a few
We gon' keep on doin' what we do
'Cause everything will be
Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Kay, ayy-ayy, ayy-ayy, okay
This is how we do it, baby, this is what we say
Eso es lo que tú y yo vamo' a hace'
Don't you worry
Don't you worry 'bout a thing

Same in Europe, it's expected because bank accounts are full, that's the whole thing that causes inflation.

There's really no problem with that in the sense that causes a recession. The only thing many are missing is the inelasticity of commodities and how the companies work. We have years ahead of mooning because of this: once rates rise and profits drop in the biggest companies, money will rotate out, and since it's a huge amount, will keep causing it. The mechanism is companies will have to keep prices low relative to commodities and the prices for maximum profits will be lower. Also inflationary pressures from housing, lots of demand.

There will be no Great Depression, that's news memes, the market (top companies) will probably just crab and there will be many moon missions in companies that were unfavored in the last ten years.

Every time the media has ramped something up the government has come to the rescue by printing more. Most normies are so complacent that they assume it will happen again. Reality starts to hit the bottom tier in society first, with 230 new million credit card accounts being opened in the last 5 months, 23 million americans being behind on their utility bills and 5 million american households being behind on their mortgage or rent.

Poorfags are slowly choking and soon it’s the middle class’ turn
