The current interest rate on my savings account is 1.80%.

Given the inflation that's been taking place, I feel I should be earning more than the current rate.

How do I get them to raise it?

I've been thinking of contacting customer service or writing a letter to the bank president, explaining how I've been with them for years.

Limits to how much you can put into them per year and that you need to hold them at least a year or you will lose the interest accrued. If you want a less restrictive option for a lower rate look into a HYSA
