yeah you can tour but I've never done it. The Perth Mint is my local coin shop. It was quite busy for tours, saw lots of Asian tourists and heard a few yank accents so it must be a popular thing. The line for bullion buying which is the only reason I got was like 10 deep as I was leaving and between 11am-2pm they say it's fucking packed there are multiple gift shops with different themes, like standard jewelry, a "pink diamond" room and whatever Lunar year is happening for the Asian market, plus rotating Australian themes. I don't know if it's a standard or special tour but you get to go through the smelting process and how it all works which I rekon would be cool.

>>51226546
The Mint specifically had lingering covid faggotry for a while after other things dropped it all but it's all gone as far as I could see just a few boomers in masks indoors still.

Why, when you can just skip that dumb step and go straight to gold. Anyway those videos are a waste of time. The only one you need to watch is the Planet Lockdown interviews with Catherine Austin Fitts, and then you'll understand the dollar was already planned to be thrown under the bus. Plus with China and the BRICS dumping the dollar recently, after having spent the past decade loading up on gold, it's stupid to hold dollars unless you're american and need some of them to pay bills and buy things with.

In the sense that their predictions regarding precious metals and the dollar haven't played out in the timeframe they said they would, they are failed brainlets. I know Rule is a billionaire but that doesn't mean he knows shit about the state of the market in 2022.
There are many similar the-world-is-ending-so-buy-gold idiots out there (Schiff, and what I call the Kitco-Stansberry Research crowd), usually but not always boomers, and they always always predict the imminent end of the dollar and how this is the time when PMs will spike drastically.
And yes I know the consensus on /pmg/ is that we need to see SHTF before that happens.
I just think these guys I've listed offer a saner explanation of what's actually going on and I'm actually trading using their theories and doing half-decently and I'm a shit trader. I did pick up a few KGs of silver and a few oz's of gold when I got a job recently so I'm not completely unexposed to PMs. I'm just being realistic about where things will go.

First of all stop giving money to companies that hate you, think of Netflix, Disney, PayPal or any WEF accociated company. Secondly, you need to build a parallel economy:

Grow your own food and buy and support your local farmers, make clear to them you are willing to us labour, barter, cash, silver, gold or crypto (e.g. BTC, ETH & XMR). Avoid the banking cartel as much as possible, be your own bank.

So yes this involves getting crypto as how are you going to do transactions otherwise? You can't batter always

Watch a few of the videos and really fucking learn about the Eurodollar and it will begin to make sense.
And yes understanding the Eurodollar system (and Johnson's Dollar Milkshake Theory) will fully explain why energy prices are so high.
More importantly it will explain why we have been in limbo, economically, since 2008.

I'll try to give a basic tldr idea of what it is, the dollar is basically the best collateral in the system right now (least dirty shirt in the dirty shirt basket) so in a time where collateral is scarce because underlying economic conditions are close to breaking point, everyone, meaning sovereign nations are piling into the dollar to not get fucked basically. Also the dollar is *DEFLATIONARY*. This is essentially the main thing to take away from learning about the Eurodollar system. The dollar is fucking deflationary and destroying every single asset in it's path because of this.

Snider is the one who talks about collateral a lot, Johnson talks more about the sovereign debt issue.
Idk if that did the topic justice, it's best to start googling their names to really understand wtf is going on. No one really talks about them here, I did a Eurodollar thread a few months back but AFAIK there aren't many anons who even know about it so the information isn't really propagating as it should.
I found out about it on fintwit and even then partly through luck.
And this anon >>51229268 is partly right, things will go to shit and there will be a deflationary depression very soon (we're actually already in one, deflation and dollar scarcitty is what is causing the dollar to go bull right now).

The scary thing is there is no concerted effort to destroy the system, they're not trying to but it will certainly be destroyed and completely out of their control.
It's just that if you keep DCA'ing into gold *now* you're doing it at the dumbest time possible.

I was just another dumb /pmg/ faggot until I started digging into this around Feb this year. It's a perfect explanation of what is going on and you can see it playing out in the real world. There is no need to take any stupid PM kool-aid, you can just look at Snider's charts and they speak for themselves.
https://twitter.com/JeffSnider_AIP/
just check out his twitter, he is pretty active on there, his charts are clunky to look at but what they show is exactly what he explains about collateral, dollar scarcity, deflation, and impending economic implosion.
And yes in a funny twist, even Snider believes in gold, so you guys *could* just go the long timeframe and forget about things for the next 2 years and just play vidya or whatever and sit on your stacks and you'll probably be fine.

Yes, that is actually why personally I bought some dollars, what I meant is not that the dollar will go down the drain (well not at least for another 5 -10 years) but other currencies will. Everyone wants dollar because its the reserve currency. Its what other cunts accept for trade, not because its valuable. Also, mind you, China sold quite a bit of US bonds. Brics are trying to bypass dollar. Dollar demand is going to drop and some cunts are going to be holding the bag and some are buying tonnes of gold.

As much as it is against the narrative, just stay in fiat for now, ideally in USD. Like I said I already bought some PMs but you have to realize that if you buy PMs now, you're buying them before they get crushed by deflation. I don't even care personally, I'm happy to just sit on them and let things play out. I've got enough food and things to keep me going for now.
People could just DCA down but it's the wrongest time to do this IMO.
And you'll end up like those faggots on /cmmg/ and other places who screech about their portfolios of GDXJ being 70% down and wondering why.
Well the reason is why is what I just explained. Gold is crashing against the dollar because the dollar is deflating like a motherfucker right now.

>>51229426
It's not just the reserve currency, that's the point it's the currency of trade. There's a difference and learning what the Eurodollar is will make it all clear.
The BRICS argument, Johnson goes into that a lot. Look up his Twitter (he's santiago capital). That dollar demand won't be going away any time soon even with BRICS. Do I wish that were not the case? Yes. Is it the case? No.
China sold almost a trillion and look at the dollar now. It's going UP.
>>51229443
The gold price, idfk. I have a feeling it will continue to go down.
And yes I know about the paper manipulation, the JPM spoofing, the COMEX bullshit, the Hambro article, all of it.
There's a good chance the manipulation will end when things reach breaking point and PMs will skyrocket when the shorts are sqoze.
Again, it depends on your time horizon. If you're expecting fast results with gold/silver then you're in the wrong place. If your time horizon is 5 years then yeah buy gold and silver and disregard the possibility that you will go down maybe another 30% from here. I did.

If it helps, just imagine your stack as it is now and you get to double it for free just for waiting it out while the dollar goes bull. That or you can buy now and watch as it keeps taking a beating on the way down.
The one advantage we all have right now is being able to leisurely sit back and work out the best option over the next few months, nothing is happening with any immediacy. Don't listen to fucktards who tell you to buy immediately or you'll regret it or the silver supply will dry up or any such shit.
Those are usually fucks who appear on Kitco and Stansberry and have a vested interest in getting people to buy silver (aka they want to dump on you at some point).
There is plenty of time before anything happens.
The only thing that will stop the dollar deflating is *possibly* a Fed pivot worth $8 trillion+ and even then I doubt it will really help things improve on a fundamental level. The real problem in the economy is a lack of good collateral. The dollar itself isn't necessarily a good form of collateral it's just that there isn't a good alternative right now. Central banks globally do seem to be buying up gold in large quantities so they may have finally realized this. I gotta go and do stuff now. I've left enough links and stuff for people to really dig into and understand this multi-faceted topic of collateral scarcity, dollar scarcity, the Eurodollar system, deflation, dollar milkshake theory, etc if they want.
It won't even take long, max is probably a month or two of watching their interviews and talks.

You don't understand leverage. The U.S. economy has not grown in real terms since 1983 if you remove the debt taken on from increase in GDP. A lot of the wealth in America is actually funded by credit. Leverage, as we all know, if fungible with cash in that they spend the same. The only problem being one must be paid back or written off/discharged. There is no getting away from the fact that the economy is saturated with debt and that eventually, a lot of this shit is going to need to be written off as unrecoverable. The government will never find the tax receipts to pay all of the resources to the bond holders. The banks will never be able to prop up housing indefinitely because the wages of the people are too low to support it.
The thing to realize is that so long as the leverage is performing, an ungodly amount of purchasing power is stored up in these bogus financial paper products. That purchasing power can easily chase after real goods the second people start to smell trouble. Do not discount a major move like that simply because everyone alive is operating on a normalcy bias of lowering interest rates from the early 1980s onwards to present day. The value isn't real and can never be paid back so the real winners will be those holding the physical goods. Even if we buy ourselves 5 more years somehow, we still can't get out of this debt trap we;re in without the help of BANKRUPTCY. Then, and only then will we see real price discovery once again. As for Madmax, we really have no idea how bad it will get. The bond market is twice the size of the U.S. GDP so there is a LOT of value that can evaporate overnight.

Kind of. All central banks except China are reducing liquidity. And because of capital controls chinese monetary policy does not have a huge effect outside of China. Well what does reduced liquidity mean? It means stock of money overall in the system reduces and that causes all prices to go down together. The last time this happened was in 2008-2009 and all asset classes started correlating and all assets went down together in price. While liquidity decreases, cash is king and all other assets lose money. This includes gold and silver and whatever else people are shilling in this thread.

And even that has its breaking point. Debt and interest rates are exponential functions and the amount of input is going to be rapidly increasing on an exponential basis. Even if you can stay afloat this year, next year will require even more dollars. Same thing the year after that. And after that. There is no solid ground that our economy and financial markets to land on. We are rocketing off into the unknown at a faster and faster rate until the whole thing breaks.
I'm sure you took algebra at some point in your life. What happens to EVERY exponential function when graphed out. They go asymptotic. That is our money supply and we are already moving our way up the curve and it will only be picking up speed going forward.

It's becoming more and more apparent that the East will utilize their massive gold reserves to issue a BRICS gold-backed currency(G-BRIC?), while the west will use their massive silver reserves to issue a silver backed dollar (S-USD). Anyone mainly stacking gold will be severely disappointed when the west doesn't value the yellow metal near as much as the moonrock. I imagine gold going up to $8-20k, while silver returns to it's natural ratio of 1:16 at $500-$1250.

"bank runs" never happen anymore, they'll just illegally 9but get away with it) close the banks like when the based Canadian truckers tried to do bank runs. Singular large clients pulling money out is much harder to deal with because it isn't by any means a bank run and someone that can have a shitload of money in the bank can also likely afford a financial lawyer to threaten lawsuit.
Big fatcats pulling their money out and putting it into hard assets would be the worst thing possible for TPTB

Hell inflation even happened with god's money, Gold and Silver. In the prosperous roman empire a 3 gram silver denarius was the paycheck for the DAY because mining technology was extremely primitve and only the easiest stuff could be dug out. Yet people lived well off of those tiny bit of silver.

Fast forward to early 1900's America and with things like steam engines, dynamite and abundant tools a LOT more silver can be mined out, to the point where in the prosperous united states a big fat silver dollar was the minimum paycheck per HOUR. People also lived well off of the big fat dollars.

You know with pretty much every high-yield silver mine used up on earth by this point and the amount of technological waste that has silver in the dumps a silver currency might DEFLATE, not Inflate if we went back it. Let's not forget the absolutely retarded huge population the earth currently has of 8 billion that silver needs to be spread among, no way can the whole world get silver dollars. Even the 1921 Morgan dollar which was the most abundant one struck had only 80 million made, not nearly enough for modern America's 350 million population.

If it got really bad we could even go back to denarius paychecks again unless asteroid mining becomes a reality.

In any case, I doubt most people here are mostly in gold, except that one "200 oz silver is enough" UK guy (but ok, I understand where he's coming from, given his tax situation). Back when inflation was roaring during the Ford administration, they proposed the same thing. "Everyone just stop acting like the money is losing value and it won't lose value!" They even had a slogan "Whip Inflation Now" and a button. Picrel.

You certainly can go back to barter if you want. But barter is very inefficient and people will not trade with you when they have functioning money.. People will only turn to barter when the currency becomes useless. Then they will very quickly find a replacement currency because barter sucks.

You'd be surprised who has been stacking gold for years. I once met a tow truck driver, and started talking to him about the stock market for some reason (this was a bit before the 2008 crisis). He told me flat out he didn't trust that shit, and only invested in gold and cows, and apparently he had a whole herd of them. Granted he wasn't young (about 50) but his prior job was corrections officer, and that doesn't pay very much either.

Emil works in the PM field. Look at his linkedin. If you dont think that all of these guys arent massive metals bulls, you don't get whats going on. The price of gold is a direct result of market liquidity. That doesnt mean you shouldnt stack gold. But it is not a productive asset, so being a full gold bug is stupid.
