Every single day I get home from working two jobs to buy as much GME as possible, I sit down and go through every thread from the day. I have done this for more than a year at this point. Look at mtg. Usually they start you out with free starter decks etc then people earn more cards from play, or purchase card packs. Those earned cards could be from common to mega rare. Players then trade the cards between each other for whatever market value is. The game earns a cut when players trade between each other, and so does the platform. So game dev gets paid, imx gets paid, GameStop gets paid, seller gets paid. And if that new owner decides to sell the card he just bought? The entire chain of payments happens again. So the devs, imx, GameStop all get paid in perpetuity as long as that card is traded.
