covid opened my eyes to the fact that society is two tiered. Not 1% vs the rest of us, but wage slaves vs those who are not beholden to the system.

Imagine living a life which is entirely shaped and directed from school age onwards to provide a net gain in GDP to a society that doesn't give a fuck about you. In the modern world your well being is of secondary importance to your productivity, and if it begins to impair your productivity, you will just be given mind altering drugs based on extensively debunked pseudoscience (SSRIs) while being told to just trust the experts.
