Incidentally, supply/demand of a finite quantity of a good should make it impossible for someone to corner the entirety of a market in the way we are doing. The price should be sky high given that no one is selling. It is the actual shorts who are digging themselves a deeper hole. Surely they can not do this forever.

Luckily for us, the legal framework exists to where we can remove these finite shares from the DTCC.
